Fifa 15 demo goes live on Xbox One

Fifa 15 demo goes live on Xbox One

If you've been waiting to give Fifa 15 a go to see if it's worth buying before you drop all that money on a pre order of the football (soccter) title, you can now do so on Xbox One, as the demo is officially live as of this morning.

Announced on Twitter by the EA Sports team, the tweet reads: "As many of you have seen, the @Xbox One #FIFA15Demo is live! Get it: https://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/Games/FIFA-15-Demo/159c843c-6135-4ebf-8bbb-96c067c736a2 … News on other platforms as it becomes avail."

It's also expected to go live in the next few hours on PC and PS4 platforms, so regardless of which one you call home - though I'm willing to bet that it's a PC - you'll be able to get a game in later today.

Also, this time the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game use the same engine as the PC, so console players can enjoy all the visual fidelity of the PC version. Presumably the Ignite Engine being used will get a bit of a boost on the PC, but we'll have to wait and see to find out.

Fifa 15 is set for release on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox one on 23rd September.
