After going gold on both PS 2 and XBox, it was announced that Namco's Kill Switch will not be released for the XBox in Europe. The reasons behind this decision were not revealed but extreme marketing discussions and pressure are suspected.
This announcement comes at a bad time for Microsoft's console since Sega also announced in a Japanese gaming magazine that OutRun2 and Virtua Cop 3 will not be released for the console since it has not sold enough units in Japan to justify such a conversion. Sega also hinted that another reason was that creating a gun accessory for the Xbox, to use with Virtua Cop 3, would be too expensive.
Despite the bad news Sega also confirmed that other titles will become available on XBox, including: Worms 3D, Sega GT Online, Sonic Heroes and Headhunter: Redemption.
