The WWE games have been a mixed bag over the years. Early '00s releases like Smackdown 2: Know your Role, or WWF: No Mercy are beloved and there are more recent entries in the franchise, like WWE2K15, that were well received too. But recent years have seen a bizarre drop in graphical quality, weak feature sets, and above all, reams upon reams of bugs. And WWE2K20 is the worst one yet.
Upon its release on October 22, it became very quickly clear that this game wasn't remotely ready for release, even without its Day One patch. It quickly garnered a plenitude of negative reviews on Steam, leading to it quickly hitting a 5/10 score among the general public. And a number of videos and gifs of bugs in action have been posted on social media.
These aren't small glitches either, but game breaking problems that wreck immersion and gameplay. Like whatever the hell is going on here:

WWE has so far been silent on the matter, but with thousands of fans complaining, it will need to respond soon or risks losing even more fans than it has done in recent years. This could be the turning point for many.
If you're a WWE fan, what do you think of how this and the past few games have been handled by WWE and 2K?
