Avowed patch 1.3.1 has landed and is now available to download on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
News in brief
- Patch 1.3.1 improves performance on Xbox Series X/S.
- It also brings a number of fixes for the game's achievements.
- These include fixes for the "Pentiment" and the "Cooking by the Book" achievements.
Xbox Series X/S players can enjoy improved performance with the latest Avowed patch. We don't know any specifics about the performance upgrades, but they will apparently affect "larger cities" acrosss both Beauty and Balancd graphics modes on Xbox.
There are also some major and much-needed fixes for the game's achievements. Players have reported issues with the Cooking by the Book achievement, gained by cooking every recipe at your Party camp. This patch means players will "no longer end up in a broken state that prevents them from receiving the achievement."
The Pentiment achievement, which requires players to complete every side quest in the game, has also seen some adjustments. Until now, if you moved the story along too far, you could easily fail sideq quests, particularly in the Emerald Stair area. This latest patch means that the Pentiment achievement "no longer requires the completion of a side quest in Emerald Stair that is only available based on certain main quest decisions."
The patch includes the usual array of UI fixes and improvements, including quest markets and items in the Compass not appearing as intended if the player has selected the "Lock Compass to North" option in Settings.
Some community requested features include the addition of a Native Anti-Aliasing option for FSR, plus the addition of "high contrast" support for sevreal UI screens.
