Supermarket Together's latest patch brings artwork to stores, with the much-requested painting frame decoration.
News in brief
- The latest patch landed on Wednesday, March 26.
- The painting frame decoration can be placed on the wall and over 50 stock images can be added to it.
- Cosmetic DLC owners can also add images from the web.
Supermarket Together's weekly patch now lets players display the artwork of their choice in their store. Over 50 stock images can be added to the painting frame decoration, a feature which has been much-requested by players. Anyone who owns the Cosmetic DLC can also type URLs to sync images from the web. The canvas size can also be adjusted.
It's worth noting that publicaly visible stores can't add URLs to display images from the web, for safety reasons.
The latest patch also implenets a number of other changes, including a new Logistics Star Perk. Acquiring this gives players a visual cue on where a product is located in the store or in storage, when holding a box of that product. Pretty handy!
There's also a new limitation on the number of lights players can have in their store, capped at 240. Having too many lights caused black screen for some graphics setups, according to shared player logs. Players can see how many lights are currently placed via a counter in the builder's lighting tab.
It's not yet known if this issue is hardware or system dependent or caused by other unknown factors, but further testing will be carried out. A toggle will also be added so players can explore decoration without this restriction.
This patch also fixes various issues, including one where cross and T paintable modules would appear visually bugged when rotated at 45 degrees. A fix for long types of ice creams overlapping in the new tray item has also been implemented.
