Increase Hit Points

If you have 1 or 0.5 hit points left you can easily and quickly boost that to 1.5 hit points by summoning your partner Gooey and then swallowing him right after by sucking him up and then pressing down. The five hit points that he starts off with will bring you up to a maximum of 1.5 so unless you're being brutally slaughtered you can go off to the side and raise your hit points to 1.5 using this little trick.
