With a hex editor open a save game file on the very first line hex 0000 you will see something like this:

00000000 0100 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000

Now modify columns 56 and 7 to read F301 or FFFF; it will look like this

00000000 0100 0000 0000 0000 F301 F301 F301 0000
