Bug Exploitation:
To win an auction at the lowest price follow this procedure: Start an auction then as soon as you switch to the auction screen save your game. Then quit the game and reload the save game. 99 of the time all the computer players wil pullout giving you the property for the cheapest price. If someone does bid against you just reload again till they don't.

Megapolitan Scenario, Easy Method:
To open the Megapolitan Scenario see the hint on this page without going trough all the scenarios, you must change something in the game data. Open your Monopoly Folder. Go to profiles your name settings.lua Open the lua-file with Notepad. At the end of the file, you will see some lines starting with [SetLevelInfo]. Make two new lines at the end and write:

SetLevelInfo300001, DEPRECATED, 0, 0, 0, 0
SetLevelInfo300002, DEPRECATED, 0, 0, 0, 0

VERY IMPORTANT:SAVE THIS FILE AND CLOSE IT AFTERWARDS. Start MT and you should see it in the scenario list of the profile you have changed.

Win auctions:
Start an auction. Immediately save the game when the auction screen appears. Quit the game and reload your saved game. Almost all of the time, the CPU players will pullout of the auction, allowing you to get the property for the cheapest price. If this does not happen, reload the game and try again.

Construction:
If you want to construct a building, it is better to build the night time buildings in the day time and the day time at night. It is cheaper to do so this way.

Now. if you start a game any game in single player. build a apartment as high as you can to get some funds. Now. first and formost. start bidding on the 4 utility companies. After that. bid on all the railroads. Make sure you leased all 8. Within 2 - 3 days you will make between 4000 - 10000 at 6 am. I do not know if this is a bug. but it will almost gaurentee you a winning game. after you play your money right.
