Time
During the first few hours of the game take your time and gather Experience and Coins so you can buy
Essences to build up your monster.

Clear Area
The best strategy when you see a wildling you are interested in catching is to first clear the area of other aggressors so you do not sustain damage while trying to catch it.

Move
Always keep moving when you attack enemies otherwise if you stay still they will rip you apart quicker than you can put them down.

Yerpa Fruit
A good strategy when you are building up your levels is to stay close to the town portal. Make sure you have a stock of Yepra furit just in case you do wander in which case you can use it to get home straight away from anywhere.
