Simple registry edit to enable High CPU and Disk Priority for the Dragon Age: The Veilguard executable. This can help with performance on weaker CPUs and slower disks. Helps reduce stuttering on all CPU and disks. A performance improvement is not guaranteed, and can sometimes be worse (though unlikely). Your mileage may vary. The main improvement this mod can provide is a reduction in stuttering, even if FPS stays the same.
This does not change the game files and will not break on updates.
Installation:
Just run the "Install" .reg file to enable the change. Double-click on the file and select "Yes".
Run the "Uninstall" .reg file to remove the change if you run into any issues.
- Optional File is available for "Above Normal" priority if you have issues with High.
- You only have to run the file once, and it will be set until you Uninstall.
- You can run the files from any folder.
- You need to be able to edit the registry (Administrator in Windows).
- This does not set "RAM" priority because that setting is already at the highest level possible. Anyone suggesting otherwise does not understand how these settings work.
