Funcom announced today a new release date for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.
Receiving 8 more weeks in development, Funcom's MMO is now scheduled for May, 20, 2008. The game was originally set for release in 2007 but then it was postponed to March, 2008 and now to May.
According to Funcom, the game is already finished and the additional time will be spent testing and polishing it.
"The companies standing apart in the gaming market today are those with a relentless drive to achieve quality. Even though we regret delaying the launch, I am certain we made the right choice. I hope that our followers and fans will support our decision, and respect our commitment to quality," said Gaute Godager, Producer and Game Director of Age of Conan.
