Alien: Isolation has been reviewed by all the big publications at this point and the consensus is, that it's a pretty good Alien game. It could be the best Alien game in-fact, if you discount the action/horror orientated ones that involved our old pal the Predator too, from years gone by.
However if you were on the fence about the game or want to know a little more about the story that sets it up, it now has an official launch trailer, showing some of the game's early story and about how it is the daughter of Ellen Ripley, Amanda, the game's protagonist, ends up in a position where she's got to outwit and outrun the 9ft Xenomorph menace.
While the game has received some criticism for being a bit padded towards the end, for the most part it's considered a genuinely tense and weighty horror experience, with an interesting AI mechanic which makes it very unpredictable, if a little unfair feeling at times.
Released today on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC, Alien Isolation is available at all of the usual retailers and digital distribution platforms.
