AMD Ryzen 3000 pricing leaked by Singapore retailer

AMD's Ryzen 3000 CPU line up may be even more affordable than the last one if a leaked pricing list from a Singaporean retailer, via TomsHardware is anything to go by. It suggests that while entry-level pricing will remain roughly the same as the 1000 and 2000 series, the mid-range will be noticeably cheaper and the top end hotly competitive with Intel's best .

According to the list of leaked CPUs, the following prices will apply:

  • Ryzen 3 3300 — $111
  • Ryzen 3 3300X — $145
  • Ryzen 3 3300G — $145
  • Ryzen 5 3600 — $200
  • Ryzen 5 3600X — $258
  • Ryzen 5 3600G — $224
  • Ryzen 7 2700 — $336
  • Ryzen 7 3700X — $370
  • Ryzen 9 3800X — $505
  • Ryzen 9 3850X — $561

These prices are a little higher than those given out by the previous AdoredTV leak, representing around a 10 percent increase across the board. That may be due to local sales taxes or import duty, so it may be that these prices are more indicative of local costs rather than global pricing.

If either price proves accurate, however, these chips should be very competitive with Intel's lineup. Leaked specs suggest an increase in core counts across the board, with eight the new norm in the mid-range, as well as clocks that can reach near 5GHz without overclocking. Thanks to the 7nm die shrink, TDP isn't too adversely affected, either.
