At some point in the next few hottest months of the year, Fortnite will land on Android devices, making it possible to try for that Victory Royale while you're cooking yourself outside. For a while the game has been available to Apple device gamers, but now Fortnite is slated to make its long-awaited debut on Android this summer.
Although we don't have a firm release date for the game just yet, we do know that gamers can expect the full Fortnite experience, including its battle royale mode and Save the World mode. Alongside that, the game is getting a sizeable update in the near future, which new Android Fortnite players will be able to take advantage of immediately.
Those improvements include:
- Customizable HUD.
- Customizable HUD blueprint.
- Voice chat with new mute options.
- Gameplay and control tweaks to improve autorun and other aspects of play.
- A smaller installation size, making it compatible with a wider array of low-level devices.
- Improved game performance on mobile devices.
- Better stat tracking.
- Improved stability.
