Attack on Titan is one of the biggest anime phenomenons in recent years. Not only are the original Manga and Anime series incredibly popular, but they've spawned countless spin off series, a Universal Studios Japan exhibit and several games, and now Capcom is looking to add to that latter group, with an arcade title of its own.
Unfortunately the details are pretty thin on the ground, but at yesterday's Japan Amusement Expo, the developer showed a couple of animated slides of its logo, with flames in the background and "Attack on Titan," though of course in Japanese.
It was followed up by the phrase "an arcade game project begins."
Unfortunately this is something we shouldn't get too excited about in the West, as traditionally all the best arcade games have remained on Japanese shores where they're far more popular.
