One of the greatest RPGs of all time, Baldur's Gate II, is coming back to the PC in the next few weeks, in its "Enhanced Edition", featuring added content, characters and a full HD makeover.
Coming November 15th, the Enhanced Edition has increased resolution, letting you see more of the action, improved visuals and a host of new characters to play as. Expand your party with Neera the Wild Mage, Dorn-Il Khan the half-orc Blackguard, monk Rasaad yn Bashir and an as yet unnamed thief.
It also packs in expansions, including the newly created Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay and two of the original campaign additions: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. These will come as standard on the PC version of the game, though those using Android or Apple devices, will need to purchase them separately.
As well as over 400 bug fixes and tweaks, multiplayer has been made easier, with games now far simpler to find and join - even with those pesky firewalls throwing up problems - and a new Widescreen mode has been added.
Baldur's gate II Enhanced Edition is set for release on November 15th, on PC, Android and Apple platforms and can be pre-purchased now, for $25, here.
