The latest series of Batman games, dubbed the Arkham Quadrilogy, is coming to an end with the next game, but until today we had no idea what it was called. Now, thanks to UK retailer GAME's slip up, we know that it's called Arkham Knight and we have some juicy game details too.
Not necessarily the most imaginative title, since the inspirational Chris Nolan trilogy also features a title very close to that, but hey, Batman has had the title "Knight" swooping around his own name for decades now, so it's not too surprising that the developers would choose that one for his final hurrah.
We won't have too long to wait for this next and somewhat final instalment in the series, as according to the now pulled listing, Arkham Knight will be released for Xbox One, PC and PS4 sometime this year.
However if you were thinking that you didn't much like the last Arkham game, don't worry, as Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros Montreal won't be handling this one, instead the original Arkham Asylum and Arkham City developer Rocksteady is producing it.
Other notes on the product page, the following blurb gives some actual details about the game: "In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.
"Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City."
One thing's for certain about this whole thing. The car looks f'in badass.
