Battleblock Theatre is finally coming to PC, with new content

If you're a fan of The Behemoth's previous games, Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid, then chances are you've already played Battleblock Theatre during its Xbox exclusivity days. But if you haven't, now would be the perfect time to get on board, as it's hitting the PC very soon with a bunch of new features, as well as running a beta for those that want to get in on the action early.

As the trailer shows, the game is coming to Steam, so it has a lot of features you'd expect: easy matchmaking; Steam Awards; achievements; card, weapon and hat trading; a level creator with the ability to share them through Steam Workshop and a host of new enemies to fight.

There's also a few not so realistic features, like five times Oculus Rift support, mega graphic throttling, RAM processing and billions of frames per second. And a cat Gabe Newell if you make it to the end.

If you like the look of the Smash Bro's like, platform brawler and you'd like to take part in the beta, head over to the official site and sign up,. It's set to take place between March 24 and 31 and any videos you make about it can't be monetised.

No word on an actual release date, but presumably not long after the beta ends. I'm going to guess mid-April.
