Even though Games Workshop still refuses to make a game of either of its big tabletop Warhammer experiences, it is releasing a lot of different games based around their universes at the moment. There's Mordheim and Bloodbowl 2 coming soon and games like Warhammer Regicide covering the 41st millenium.
But don't forget about Battlefleet Gothic, which ditches the units and battlefield scraps for space warfare at a galactic level. Huge, cathedral-like warships will go at one another in the murky depths of space, with everyone aboard hoping to avoid enemy missiles and warp storms alike.
To give us an idea of what the game will look like in action, there's a new teaser trailer out and it's rather pretty.
Details on the ground are quite thin at the moment, though we know the game will feature four factions: the Imperium of Man, Chaos, Eldar and Orks, with each race having their own unique captains, ships and units to fight with.
Boarding actions as well as long distance combat are possible and the game will take place in real time, with pre-set orders as well as live ones you can send mid-battle.
Battlefleet Gothic has no set release date as of yet.
