The Binding of Isaac continues to do very well on multiple platforms, but it never hurts to add it to a few more. With that in mind, the team behind the game has now made it available on the Xbox One and PS4 in the U.S. and EU, with plans to bring it to the Wii U in the very near future.
Priced at $11, the game is hardly a big, expensive buy, but it features endless amounts of content, with randomised bosses, randomly generated levels, hundreds of upgrades, achievements and unlocks to find and earn, as well as new content like daily runs, Greed Mode, a new character and new items and enemies.
You'll want the original Binding of Isaac to take full advantage of course, but Afterbirth practically turns it into a whole new game.
The only downside to it is that has meant Edmund McMillen, the man behind the game, hasn't been working on Mewgenics. In-fact that game is now on hold and hasn't been developed for in over two years.
Boo. I was really looking forward to that Pokemon/Cat Lady mashup.
