One of the most beloved of dungeon crawling games may be making its way to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. Blizzard Entertainment posted a tweet of the head of Diablo himself as a lightbulb located on a typical wall plug. Funnily enough, they press the wall "switch," to turn it off and on again, suggesting that Diablo III may be launching on the Nintendo Switch in the near future.

The Nintendo Switch has attracted a lot of attention from AAA and indie developers alike and has outsold its predecessor console, the Wii U, in just its first year of release alone. A number of developers and publishers have been using it to help make a little money from their back catalogs so considering how well Diablo III did in the past on other platforms, it wouldn't be a total surprise for Blizzard to bring it over to the portable home console.
We don't have any indication of when this would happen, if it is set to happen. If it does though, we would expect the expansions to come along with it, giving Nintendo users a real taste of Diablo III with all of its additional content and prestige levels to grind through.
