Anyone who's played an MMO for a long time will know the heartbreak of seeing certain friends never come back online again. Years later their sign-in status doesn't change and you remember the good times you had together, never to be repeated. Except they might be thanks to Blizzard's new tool. The Classic Connections 2004-2006 forum tool is designed to help friends who played together back in the days of the original World of Warcraft to find one another.
The big purpose behind this is to help further emulate the original WoW play experience on the upcoming Classic servers, which themselves are looking to give people the nostalgic kick they want for those bygone days of Azeroth. If you want to use it yourself to try and find some old pals, here's what you do.

It's not a complicated process or even a particularly clever one, but a few friends may find each other with it and if that's all that happens, this was a good move.
