Back when games were designed primarily for arcade machines, games used to be too hard and -at times - frustrating. The transition to console and PC gaming put an end to that, but this might not be what gamers want.
At least, not according Mega Man 9 producer Hironobu Takeshita who believes that gamers miss being challenged.
"Mega Man 9 is very hard," Hironobu Takeshita said. "We didn't want to do Mega Man, but easy. We want players to get better, we want them to remember."
"I've always tried to challenge players and I think there are gamers who miss being challenged by games", he explained.
Mega Man 9 is being produced by Capcom and is set for release this year.
