Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is shipping for retail this week and will be available at North American retailers everywhere by March 31st in slightly different iterations for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and PC, as well as the N-Gage platform, published by Gameloft. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory delivers three different types of gaming experience and will aim to appeal to most gamers.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory includes a single-player campaign that follows gaming icon, Sam Fisher on his latest mission to maintain world peace, a two-player co-op campaign that redefines collaborative gaming, and a completely updated Versus multiplayer campaign (which first appeared to critical acclaim in last year's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow) and offers gamers complete immersion in modern stealth action and endless hours of replayability. The co-op mode is available for split-screen and online play for Xbox and online for PC; both the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions offer co-op play through offline split-screen only. The Versus mode is available for online play with Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC, and is not available on the Nintendo GameCube.
The game boasts a totally open level design, a completely immersive and interactive environment, and advanced AI in which enemies are aware of their environment and remember past events, making them smarter and even more dangerous. In addition, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory delivers high-quality graphics and visual effects.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory carries a suggested retail price of USD 49.99.
