Gods Will be Watching was a Ludum Dare game jam entry that pitted you and your team of spacecraft crash survivors against the elements, tasked with lasting as long as possible by managing resources, time and often more importantly the phsyche of your crew, all whilst trying to repair the radio so you can be rescued. It was hard, brutal and starkly bleak - but brilliantly so - and now it's getting a full release.
The new trailer doesn't show much, beyond how brutal a pixellated universe can be. However it does at least give us an idea of the detail that's gone into the game, which matches and surpasses that seen in the Ludum Dare entry, which is no mean feat.
The game will continue the same feel as the original demo, with hard decisions about survival being made around every corner. It's a point and click thriller, that sees "Sgt. Burden and his crew in six tense chapters from hostage situations and wilderness survival to biological weapon prevention and agonizing torture scenarios. Each decision is crucial and players will need to choose between the lives of their team and the saving the world from genocide."
Gods Will be Watching is set for release on Steam in June.
What do you guys think of the new trailer? Is it the type of game you'd be into?
