The next update for Ghost Recon: Wildlands will give players a very different sort of opponent to take on in the game's jungles. Instead of fighting off threats from human adversaries, they'll be able to hunt down an extraterrestrial enemy. The Predator.
The special game event will see players taking on a lone predator either by themselves or with cooperative pals and will run from December 14 until early January, so make sure you go out and hunt it while you have the chance. The mode is entirely free for everyone, so don't worry about paying, but you will need to bring your A game, as it will be anything but easy to take down.
It will come with all of the tricks from the movie, including thermal vision, a cloaking device and maybe an explosive or two if you're not careful.
As PCGamesN points out, if you manage to do so though, you'll get some funky rewards. You'll receive a Predator Mask which comes complete with the alien's thermal vision, a Predator Pack containing a bunch of customization items, weapons like wrist-blades, and a new melee attack.
Don't expect Arnold to join the ranks, at least in his likeness, but a "Dutch" character is coming to the game so you can get a little more thematic in your assault on the jungle's latest top 'predator.'
Joining this new game mode is a new ranked play mode and a Pathfinder class for Ghost War, both of which are coming as part of the Jungle Storm update.
