If you hadn't heard Crash Bandicoot is making a comeback for nostalgic gamers and a whole new generation of players who can take on the role of the anthropomorphised rodent. Known as the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane trilogy is a remastering of the original three Crash Bandicoot games, with all of its trail-based gameplay, apple hunting and enemy spinning into the undergrowth.
Of course though the gaming world has moved on quite a bit since the original Bandicoot games were released, so to update them and make them a little more player friendly, levels have been remade to the original geometry, but with a few tweaks and additions. There's also a new manual and auto-save feature, so you don't need to retread your steps quite so often when you die.
There's even a new menu system that is unified across all of the different games.
Utilising the PS4 Pro, you'll be able to actually play Crash at up to 4K resolution. It looks absolutely beautiful, as well as maintaining the feel and sounds of the original trilogy.
It's set for release sometime in 2017.
