The N'Sane Trilogy for Crash Bandicoot's HD remastering has been doing great business since its recent release and that's lead to a lot people poking around through menus and levels to see if there is anything secretive hidden there. One player has stumbled across a reference to a character from that same early PlayStation era, which may hint at a possible reboot for them too.
The character we're talking about is, of course, Spyro, the little purple dragon who could. A demo for his first game was included with Crash Bandicoot Warped, the third game in the original trilogy. To access it you have to input a cheat code in the game's menu system. That same cheat code appears to activate in the N'Sane Trilogy's menu system too, though it doesn't seem to actually do anything (thanks KitGuru).
The same cheat doesn't do anything in the menu for the other two games, so it's possible that the demo could be added at some point in the future. It could also just be legacy code that has somehow been ported over with the original parts of the game, but that seems unlikely considering how much of the original Crash games had to be remade for its remastering.
Perhaps we'll see Spyro show up in a future update for the N'Sane Trilogy. What do you think?
