The first patch for Crysis 2 came with several enhancements and fixes for the multiplayer portion of the game as well as compatibility with different hardware peripherals but it also disabled auto-aim completely.
According to Crytek, the auto-aim removal was "due to overwhelming community feedback" but we find it strange that players would ask for such an optional feature to be removed from the single player campaign; especially when it is a feature that is found in almost every game and can be disabled by a single click in the control options menu.
