During his speech in the Games Developers Conference, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli revealed Crysis's development budget.
According to Yerli, Crysis cost $22 millionto develop and it turned out profitable; or in his own words: "If it wasn't profitable I wouldn't be able to stand here." The Crytek CEO didn't reveal the game's sales figures, but we know that it sold 1 million units in its first 3 months in market.
In the same keynote, Yerli also revealed that they plan to release the enxt version of CryEngine by 2012 and that he expects it to look "three to five time better" than CryEngine 2 that powered Crysis.
