Valve's Doug Lombardi has finally commented on Valve's products this week. His official comments have been hard to come by following the H-L 2 source theft late last year but this time he was very informative.
"CS: CZ will be available to consumers on March 23 via Steam and at retail outlets around the world..." said Mr Lombardi, on the U.S. release of CS:CZ while Vivendi have confirmed the 26th as the European date.
The important bit of information, unleashed by Doug Lombardi however, concerns Half-Life fans who need all the good news they can get. Apparently expert estimates claiming that H-L 2 would see a September release may not be correct since Valve has confirmed that it is still targeting a summer 2004 release.
Let us hope that Valve will be more forthcoming with H-L 2 news from now on, or at least at E3 so that fans can begin budgeting for the game.
