Some new screenshots from the upcoming Sonic Forces have been revealed, each showcasing one of the new, possible configurations of the customisable character from the game and as some pointed out during the game's earlier reveal, they look just like some of the fan art created for the blue hedgehog's world over the years.
Examples include a bright yellow fox creature with a bizarrely long snout, a cat-like creature wearing gloves and a black and yellow hoody, a red cat-thing with a diminutive tail and a black rabbit wearing a Bane mask of all things.
Revealed as part of a new soundtrack trailer for the game, the images showcase just how different you can make the third playable character in the upcoming game. Players will have options for changing their look and feel with various options for clothing, hair styles and base animal. You know, the same kind of things Sonic fans have been doing online for decades, only now they'll actually get to play as that character of their dreams.
Sonic Forces is slated for release in Q4 2017 on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Windows PCs.
