If you want to play Cyberpunk 2077 the second it is officially launched, pre-ordering and pre-loading the game is the best way to do it. While there are some reasons you might want to discourage pre-ordering and the incentives that go with that, if you're going to be there from the first moment, you need to get it read to play and that means knowing when you can pre-load the game. It starts at different times all over the world, but for U.S. gamers, you'll be able to get your greedy little bandwidth on it at 12PM CET on December 7.
That's for PC Gamers only, though. Console gamers will get the chance to pre-load it sooner. Xbox One and Series X gamers can pre-load the game already, with that pre-load having gone live on December 3 at 5PM CET. Playstation 4, 4 Pro, and PS5 gamers can begin pre-loading the game on December 5.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most hotly anticipated games of not only this year, but this generation of consoles and PC hardware. It's one of just three major games that CD Projekt Red has released this decade and is the first since its release of the seminal Witcher III: Wild Hunt. It's been delayed many times over and has faced criticism for the crunch placed on developers, but it's finally almost here.
CDPR has announced the official debut of the game will be December 9 at 7PM EST on GoG, Stadia, Steam, Epic Store, and games consoles, which gives gamers a couple of days to pre-load it if they're pre-ordered. The game will become available to pre-load on Steam, and Epic Games Store at 12PM CET on December 7.
With Cyberpunk so close to release, just how excited are you to make your mark on Night City?
