Dark Souls II director Yui Tanimura admitted that the PC version of Dark Souls was half-assed and promised not to repeat that mistake with its sequel.
"A lot of it was not very well done, sort of half-assed," he admitted before asserting that " This time, because we are considering the PC from the beginning, you can be sure there will be more care put into PC development."
Dark Souls for PC was virtually unplayable without applying fan-created mods that fixed a lot of its performance issues.
