If you are in need of an Esports fix but happen to have forgotten what time of year it is, then look no further than the official Twitch stream of the International 2015, with the biggest prize pool in Esports history; again.
While last year it was a huge $10.19 million prize pool, with the winners taking home a monstrous million dollars each, this year it's even more, reaching the heady heights of $18 million. That means that even the team that comes in last is walking away with $55,000 each.
Who knows what next year's will reach.
But enough about the prizes and on to the competition. It began yesterday at 10AM PT and will be running through until August 8, so there's plenty of matchup to come, plenty of betting to be done if you're so inclined and lots of heartbreak for those that go home before the final day.
The International features 16 teams battling it out for a spot in the Saturday final match up, which will see the winners turned into millionaires overnight. If you would prefer to watch them in a more dramatic manner, the finals will also be showcased in around 400 theatres around the US. To see if your local cinema qualifies, there's a list of participating outlets here.
