Confirming earlier speculations, Nintendo has announced that slightly larger-screened DSI XL will be released in North American on March 28th, 2010 for $189.99. The handheld, already available in Japan under the name DSI LL, features a screen that is 93% larger than that of the DS Lite and enjoys a wider viewing angle. It also comes bundled with a large pen-like stylus and is pre-loaded with Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock, along with the free Nintendo DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio applications. Nintendo has confirmed that DSI XL is heading to Europe, but no release date has been announced yet.
