The organizers of E For All Expo revealed the major exhibitors and attractions for this week's event.
On January 5, 2007, IDG World Expo, announced the first annual E for All Expo, the only video game event to receive the endorsement of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the trade organization that organized the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). E for All was launched in response to ESA's reorganization of the E3 event to the E3 Business and Media Summit, where only invitees from the press and in the industry can attend. The expo offers an opportunity for the general public to see and try new products.
E for All offers consumers unprecedented access to the video game industry through opportunities to see, try and buy the world's leading video game products before they are available on store shelves. In addition to game-play, show attendees will enjoy a variety video game lifestyle offerings, including: video game tournaments, the Into the Pixel video game art exhibition, a Gamer Lounge and the acclaimed Video Games Live concert.
The IDG-released list of high-profile exhibitors at the event, which runs from Thursday October 18th to Sunday October 21st, includes Nintendo, Electronic Arts, THQ, Konami, Namco, and 2K Games, with some notable names also missing, including publishers such as Sony, Microsoft and Ubisoft.
The list of playable games for the event includes Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, The Simpsons Game, Rock Band, Medal of Honor Heroes, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 and Metal Gear Solid 4.
