Need for Speed, NBA Street and FIFA TO GET THE PSP tratment for the console's U.S. launch.
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Electronic Arts announced its entire PSP handheld entertainment system line up set for release when the system launches in the U.S. this March.
EA's PSP list of launch titles includes two new EA SPORTS staples; FIFA Football and MVP Baseball,(only available in the U.S and not in the UK) along with four previously announced franchise greats; Need for Speed Underground Rivals (images), Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, NBA STREET: Showdown (working title) and NFL STREET 2: Unleashed.
All of EA's franchises have been custom designed and specially tuned for Sony's handheld and all six games feature original game modes, head-to-head wi-fi multiplayer, unique content, party play and EA Pocket TRAX.
Inspired by hit franchises, all six games are being specifically developed and optimized for the new device by EA's Team Fusion, an elite group of 150 developers, spanning two award-winning studios (EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C. and EA Tiburon in Orlando, Fl.)
