For a long time now, many years in-fact, a persistent problem has existed within the FIFA soccer games: high-level players in the Ultimate Team didn't seem to work well together, even if they had high-levels of chemistry, the stat which is supposed to make them more amicable to play with.
For whatever reason though, even though this seems to have existed since as early as FIFA 09, EA has never responded. Admittedly most information regarding it was anecdotal, but it never even claimed to look into the issue.
Now though it seems to have changed its tune. Whether video evidence has appeared or the complaints have ramped up enough that it feels the need to respond is anyone's guess, but EA has at least said that it will look into the problem.
"Thanks to the FUT community for raising awareness of a potential fitness and chemistry inconsistency in some FUT items. After hearing this, our teams were in over the weekend and continue to thoroughly investigate the information," EA Sports said while speaking with GamesRadar.
A few sites reporting this believe EA may just have not been able to see the complaint threads through all the community reports it must receive from a game this size, but it seems hard to imagine all of the complaints for this generating nothing over the past few years.
