Final Fantasy XV is one of those games that felt like it was never going to be released. Originally conceived back in 2006 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, it was then named Final Fantasy: Versus XIII. However as development continued and the game changed over the years, it was eventually ported to the PlayStation 4, renamed and now exists in the guise we've seen in recent trailers.
And it's finally gone gold. That means that the game is going to see the light of day and is going to be released in the near future. In fact as soon as November 29, on PS4 and Xbox One.

Along with the news that Final Fantasy XV has gone gold, we also learned recently that the post-launch DLC will include a new mode that has never existing in a Final Fantasy game before: COOP. Four players will be able to team up to take on entirely new challenges together, taking on the role of different FF characters.
