Sometimes it takes a gamer stepping back to see the forest for the trees, or to realise that there could be a lot more depth to their favourite characters than is immediately obvious in the sometimes claustrophobic worlds we play in and that's what the guys behind The Four Players videos have done, showing a whole new side to some of your favourite gaming characters.
I won't spoil who they are, but I can confirm they're all from the same video game series and often feature together, however these versions of them are far grittier than you've seen before.
These come from the mind of screen writer Evan Daugherty, who partnered up with YouTube channel Polaris and Maker Studios to create these videos. Make sure you give them some props if you like what you see.
