If you enjoy the Binding of Isaac but wish you too could mutate and evolve into some bizarre blob of body horror, then Madragora's Freaky Awesome is likely to be right up your street. The cooperative roguelike sees you and up to three friends diving into a nuclear powerplant, where mutations caused by radiation send you into bizarre configurations of teeth and limbs and you have to battle your way through endless other horrors to make it out alive.
Currently looking for sign ups for the open beta, Freaky Awesome is said to deliver "dozens" of hours of play time as you mutate and battle your way through the disgusting and ever evolving power station enemies. All locations are randomly generated and permadeath is very real, so you'll want to keep on your toes as you take on the inhabitants of the power station.
Environmental attacks will be important and anyone you kill can be eaten for health, but they'll also pass along a little of their genetic information, which is where further mutations come into play.
It's not clear if making it through the game will turn you and your friends back to normal, but it would be a suitably creepy ending to have you simply become the king of the gross inhabitants of the game, waiting for your next playthrough to fight again.
Freaky Awesome is currently slated for an Autumn 2017 release and is already drawing a lot of interest on Steam Greenlight.
