Age of Conan developer Funcom, has made it somewhat of an annual tradition to release a spooky game around Halloween and this year is no different. In 2015 it released The Park, a narrative driven horror experience and 2016's take on the unnerving of the world, is Hide and Shriek, which we now have a new teaser trailer for.
All we really know from the trailer is that it's set in a high-school, most probably one from the late '80s, judging by the music and visuals and VHS scan lines. The audio has a lot of synths going on and gives a bit of a Stranger Things vibe.
The description for the video suggests that players will be charged with scaring one another, with "hijinks and mischief." You'll be able to set traps, cast spells and scare your opponents to win. It's a one vs multiplayer experience, with 10 minutes matches.
So it's not that far off from Dead from Daylight, but has a bit of a lighter feel to it.
