Proposing through an MMO such as World of Warcraft or Second Life might be easy, but how about doing it through bejeweled?
Xanga user, Bernie, proposed for his girlfriend Tammy using a homebrew version of Bejeweled running on her Nintendo DS.
Bernie spent several weeks writing a homebrew version of the popular casual game from scratch. In Bernie's version, once the player (Tammy) reaches a certain score, the screen clears up and a ring drops down. Of course, Bernie was ready at that moment with a real ring at hand.
Tammy accepted and they had a nice dinner then filmed a recreation of the whole event.
