Nvidia has released a new driver, the WHQL certified 384.94 and it's designed to bring everyone up to date for the new release of Lawbreakers and Hellblade, along with a few bug fixes and optimizations for older titles. Read on to see if your current favorite game is affected.
Ark: Survival Evolved, LawBreakers, Fortnite, Dark and Light, and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice should all now have improved performance if you're running an Nvidia card. PCGamesN reports that Eve: Valkyrie's ultra graphics update should play much more smoothly with this driver release.
Fixed issues created by previous driver releases include a shored up SLI problem in IL2-Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad for those running two GTX 980s, a fixed Star Ruler 2 crash bug and a patched up and functional Mass Effect - Andromeda (as much as it can be fixed) for those running Titan Xp graphics cards.
There are also GTX 1070/1080 fixes for Shadow Warrior 2's HDR setting, Gears of War 4's GTX 970 in-game freeze, NieR:Automata's screen freeze for GTX 780 owners and a Watch Dogs 2 crash bug for those running Titan X graphics cards.
All in all, it's quite a standard release, but certainly worth downloading for anyone who's experiencing issues with specific games. Grab it from Nvidia's main site, here.
