The latest version of GOG Galaxy gaming platform introduced the ability to roll back game updates after installing them.
Although uncommon, there have been reported incidents of game updates introducing new bugs, reducing performance, or removing content altogether. The ability to rollback such updates is sure to come in handy.
GOG differentiates itself from other gaming platforms by adopting an anti-DRM stance. All games on GOG Galaxy are DRM-free and the platform doesn't force automatic updates for any games. Moreover, all GOG games can be bought from its online store and playing without using the Galaxy platform. Sadly, all of this comes at the cost of the scarcity of new high profile titles.
