If you're a huge Blizzard fan and are heading to Blizzcon in early November or are excited enough to have pre-ordered your virtual ticket to watch online, then you're in luck. Blizzard has just released two new mounts for World of Warcraft with a mechanical theme, which are only unlockable with a Blizzcon 2017 ticket.
While traditional mounts in WoW have been horses, tigers, bears, dragons, wolves and even chickens, they're almost exclusively organic. That is, they're animals that provide you that speedy transition across Azeroth. Not so with the new mounts coming to Blizzcon. These ones are entirely mechanical, using the power of engineering to take to the skies and get you where you need to go.
The first, and the Alliance's new vehicular mode of transport, is the Stormwind Skychaser. It sports multiple propellers which send it cruising through the air with a throne to sit on. If you're a member of the horde though, you'll be gifted the Ogrimmar Interceptor with your Blizzcon ticket. It utilizes propellers of its own, but it's kept airborne by a chain corralled envelope, turning it into a micro-blimp.
While you sit in pride of place, or take to the wheel yourself, there's room for a passenger too, so you can transport a friend across the continent or indeed the world itself, in relative comfort aboard your new mechanical steed.
