While it's over half a decade old at this point, GTA IV is still a game with a lot of life in it thanks to its mountains of modifications. However, one of the key people behind incredibly popular visual modification iCEnhancer, Hayssam Keilany, has announced that he's quitting the team for a while at least, due to some of the criticism and negative comments made by his peers and fans.
It's sad in many ways, since Keilany has only just released the latest 3.0 version of the mod, which has turned the game into one of stunning beauty, despite its age.
Announcing it on his Facebook page, the modder said: "Yep, that's it. At every release it's the same, since 1.2. People spitting on me, my work, everything I do just because people know me or whatever. That's always nice.
"I spent days, weeks, months doing 3.0, released it because I thought people would like it and stuff. If you don't then I'm sorry, but it's how I like my GTA."
After four years of the same complaints and disparaging remarks every time he makes a release, he's out. "I'm going to release the installer and downgrader then I'm done for a while.
Thanks to the people who supported me and stuff, you guys are cool. No thanks for the guys trying to bring me down constantly."
Fortunately for those that are fans, he does at least sound like he'll be back one day. The question is when?
Are any of you guys fans of iCEnhancer mods?
