GTA V on PC might have a first person mode

Begging the question of whether it will have virtual reality support, the latest Grand Theft Auto game may well have a first person perspective mode when it hits PC early next year, according to a cached version of Rockstar's support page.

Spotted by a redditor, the page essentially states some of the things that should be coming in the PC iteration of the game. Alongside the new animals, new easter eggs, extra guns, weapons, missions and more, another bullet point suggests a first person perspective.

• A brand new first person mode for vehicles that shows the interior of the vehicle, including working speedometers, tachometers, dash lights, and more.
• A brand new first person mode while on foot.

Of course we won't know if this is just a hoax, a pulled feature or indeed, one that Rockstar is working on and has planned for the PC version, until the game is out or Rockstar lets us know. For now though it is exciting to speculate.

The only taste we've had of a first person mode so far has been this unofficial modification:

What would you guys do in GTA V if you were able to run around in first person mode?
