GTFO, the survival horror shooter from 10 Chambers Collective is ready for Steam Early Access and will land on the platform for anyone who wants it, on December 9. This follows a pair of successful alpha events in November, and a recent 24-hour beta test.
GTFO is a shooter, but you spend most of your time in the game wielding big sledgehammers for braining Last of Us-Style zombie monstrosities with no faces, tentacles, and horrible snapping jaws. There are larger mini-boss monsters and more to discover in underground complexes that are desolate and isolated. In your quest to discover whatever the mysterious "warden" is making you look for, you'll have to hack terminals, discover key cards, and explore the mysteries of a world overrun by horrors.
And soon you'll be able to do it on more than one level. Starting with the Early Access release, GTFO will debut with a number of levels and missions to complete, with various random elements changing each playthrough to keep things fresh, and available levels rotating every few days.
It is expected that GTFO will be in Early Access for around a year before being given the official release, but content in the game will gradually increase as time goes on.
